At Techworks, we believe in the “right person, right seat”. Currently we are looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our team. 

Are you the right person for this seat?

What Techworks is looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal team
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with internal team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Ability to attend networking events and join networking groups

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Full time availability with a standard shift of Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with a 1 hour lunch break, some additional hours may be required
  • Must be familiar with technology and IT services, technical background preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a B2B sales environment or technical position, Managed Services experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing industry related software such as: Quotewerks, Connectwise Sell (Quosal), Connectwise Manage, etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills both over the phone and in person
  • Professional demeanor and ability to hold conversations with executive level decision makers

Compensation:

  • Competitive Salary plus Commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
